Description:
Hopkins students work alongside Guilford teachers to fuel the students' passions for learning while serving as role models. The project matches JHU students with an equal number of Guilford students for weekly interaction. For the first hour, a Hopkins student and a Guilford student will work on a specific and individual academic goal. The last hour is designed to allow the students to spend time in a social setting, deepening each other understanding and respect for each other and others in similar social groups. This socialization can be as simple as a football game, or as structured as a visit to the BMA.
Meeting Information:
Every Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Meet in front of the MSE Library!
We travel to Guilford Middle School, which is only about five minutes away!
