Description:
The Johns Hopkins Entertainer's Club (JHEC) is a group for the underappreciated performing arts. Some activities the club does are, but are not limited to, juggling, break dancing, fire poi and staffing spinning, diabolo (Chinese yo yo), and magic. Meetings are spent practicing new tricks, teaching others different moves and skills, and choreographing for performances. JHEC tries to put on at least one official show per semester. Anybody is welcome to join the club at any time; there are no try outs and no experience is required.
Meeting Information:
The Entertainer's club has official meetings from 8-9PM on Mondays in the SDS room of the F. Ross Jones Building in the Mattin Center. Members are encouraged to continue practicing until 10PM. The break dancers of Entertainer's Club also practice on Thursdays from 9-11PM in the dance studio of the Mattin Center.
