Description:
The Ladybirds Dance Team is a student-run and student-choreographed team, which focuses on several different dance styles, including Pom, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Tap. As the Official Dance Team of Johns Hopkins University, the Ladybirds perform at sports games, including Football, Basketball and Lacrosse, as well as other Performing Arts events on campus. The members of Ladybirds all come from very diverse dance backgrounds, from ballet to belly-dancing, and are able to contribute their styles in choreography throughout the year, especially during the annual Ladybirds Spring Concert in late March. Auditions are held in mid-September.
Meeting Information:
The team practices in the Mattin Center Dance Studio Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 7PM and Saturdays from 12 to 3PM.
