Description:
NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, suceed professionally, and positively impact the community.
The JHU-NSBE chapter holds dynamic professional, academic, and economic workshops during chapter meetings. We service our community through mentoring our Pre-College Initiative Chapter at Milford Mill High School and through our tutoring program Science is for Everyone (S.I.F.E.) co-sponsored with H.O.P.E. We attend the enspiring conferences that the organization host each year: Regional Leadership Conference, Fall Regional Conference, and National Conference. During these conferences members have the opportunity to take advantage of empowering workshops, huge career fairs, and grad school fairs.

NSBE meets every other Wednesday at 8pm in Mattin 161
