Description:
The Johns Hopkins Outdoors Club (JHOC) runs weekly trips during the academic year which include hiking, backpacking, climbing, canoeing, caving, and other outdoors activities. All Hopkins affiliates are invited to participate in our escapades. Equipment and transportation are provided, and almost every JHOC excursion is free! Check out our schedule of trips to find some that fit your schedule.
JHOC is run by undergraduate student officers who are elected yearly. These fine wilderness enthusiasts scour the globe (or at least the east coast) for beautiful and exciting destinations.
Meeting Information:
Officer meetings every other Monday at 9:00 pm in the JHOC clubroom.
Trip leader meetings every other Monday (opposite the Mondays above) at 9:00 pm in the JHOC clubroom.
Informational meetings open to all students, faculty, and staff twice a semester:
September 20th at 9:00 pm in Shaffer 101
December 10th at 9:00 pm in Shaffer 101
