Description:
PEEPs (Preventative Education & Empowerment for Peers), sponsored by the Center for Health Education and Wellness (CHEW), are part of a peer health education program designed to provide a setting in which students can discuss and explore health issues. PEEPS are trained to present health information for their peers on a variety of topic such as men's/women's health, sexual health, nutrition, stress management, and alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. PEEPs also sponsors awareness events and activities on campus to promote a healthier JHU.
As an integral part of the CHEW CREW PEEPs are dedicated to making the most of teachable moments to influence student health practices.
