Description:
We are a multi-demensional group. Not only do we provide an open forum for artists to create and collaborate on projects, but we offer community service opportunities for members to take an active, artistic role in the Baltimore community. We have been working with American Visionary Arts Museum on various community projects, and are currently planning a mural nearby campus. We also plan on running art shows at least twice a semester in the near future to help raise awareness for the visual arts on campus. Our goals is to help increase this kind of awareness, which is why we have created a petition for our school to offer a minor in the visual arts.
Meeting Information:
Workshops: thursday evenings/ saturday afternoons
mandatory meetings: once/month on a Wed. in the drawing studio of the mattin center
