Description:
Our purpose is to:
- To provide a club for women interested in rugby.
- To learn the game and improve members’ skills and knowledge of rugby in a controlled, competitive environment.
- To promote knowledge of the game of rugby on the Johns Hopkins University campus.
- To integrate and introduce women into a sport dominated by men.
Meeting Information:
We practice two to three times a week, usually Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9 on the practice field next to the Rec Center. We have games during the fall every Saturday and during the Spring as often as we can. During the Spring we also have practice on Saturdays usually from 3-5.
In addition to practice there are also several meetings a semester to go over administrative stuff but those meetings are TBD.
