Description:
Coalition of Hopkins Activists for Israel (CHAI) is a student-run group that meets weekly in the Hillel building. CHAI is the only Israel advocacy group at Johns Hopkins University. CHAI is a non-partisan, non-religious club committed to advocating for Israel's right to a peaceful existence as a Jewish Democratic State. Hosting events such as Israel Fair 2008, which was a great success, CHAI is dedicated to spreading awareness and educating the student body about Israel’s politics, history and culture. Also, group meetings serve as a forum for students who wish to participate in discussions about current events.
