Description:
Prometheus is a national undergraduate philosophy journal published by undergraduate students at Johns Hopkins University. The purpose of the journal is to promote philosophic discourse of the highest standard by offering students an opportunity to engage in open discussion, participate in the production and publication of an academic journal, and establish a community of aspiring philosophers.
Each year, Prometheus publishes quality undergraduate papers in philosophy. Prometheus is distributed throughout Homewood Campus and philosophy departments across the nation.
Prometheus also publishes a bi-weekly online journal from submissions by undergraduate students from Johns Hopkins University.
We also hold weekly discussion forums to talk about pertinent philosophical problems.

Prometheus holds various undergraduate events; including an undergraduate forum that meets once a week to discuss philosophical issues that are enthralling and relevant. The forum meetings are informal and open to all active minds who want to engage in civil discourse.
.
Our weekly discussions are Mondays at 8 pm in the Batoff Lobby.
It is just to the right of the Charles Street entrance to Charles Commons (and just in front of the Winter Library). From the 33rd Street entrance (which is entirely public), you have to go up the stairs, to the left, and down the stairs at the end of that hallway.
