Description:
The Indian Graduate Students Association (IGSA) was set up in August 2003 to provide Indian graduate students at Johns Hopkins with a platform to interact with each other as well as to serve as an outlet for our extra-curricular talents. In addition, IGSA events are intended to serve as a window to Indian culture and festivals for the Hopkins community as a whole. We also strive to organize our events in a manner so as to further interaction between students from the Schools of Engineering, Arts and Sciences (at Homewood), Bloomberg School of Public Health and the School of Medicine (SOM). While IGSA focuses on graduate students and postdoctoral scientists, we have also organized events of common interest in collaboration with undergraduate student organizations at Hopkins.
Meeting Information:
IGSA meets at Mattin Center 161 twice every month on Fridays 7-9pm.
