Description:
We offer free one-on-one and group tutoring for any subject or level at the Waverly branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library, in the afternoons of Monday through Thursday, and on Saturday morning. Members of the community who are interested in the service are asked to register and set up regular appointments, since available tutors are first allocated to those with appointments before they are opened up to drop-in participants. In this community, the library acts as both a nexus for intellectual gatherings and a haven for children and parents from questionably safe Baltimore streets. As such, it is always bustling with young minds—ones that are not always being engaged productively.
Meeting Information:
We meet biweekly at Levering on Saturday evenings (4-5pm) but we volunteer at the Waverly Library 5 days a week (M-Th and Sat).
