Description:
HASA aims to reach out to the Baltimore-Washington community to increase awareness of stroke, both its causes and indicators, as well as consequences it may have. It is through knowledge and awareness of this tremendous health issue that we hope to decrease its prevalence, especially in the large inner-city population of Baltimore. Through volunteer work with clinicians, screenings, pamphlets, and other outreach work we hope to reach a large number of people across a wide spectrum of backgrounds.
Meeting Information:
Meetings are second and fourth Monday of every month at 7:15 PM. Levering Hall.
