Description:
The purpose of Formosa Identity is to preserve the democracy in Taiwan and to advocate for the rights of Taiwanese citizens. The Formosa Identity aims to guide student of all nationalities to understand the complexity of Taiwan situation, to introduce the mostly unknown Taiwanese history under the KMT's dictatorship to the international society, and to assist Taiwan to practice political and cultural justice and democracy in their own land and also in the international community. To promote Taiwan's democracy and to restore the missing history to Taiwanese, it will help them and the public fully support Taiwanese's human rights of determining their own political state. Our main objective here is to promote and advocate the recognition of Taiwan as an independent and sovereign nation in the international community.
