Description:
Shakti is JHU's Classical Indian Dance team. Shakti was started 6 years ago by a group of interested students that came together to keep their culture alive through classical dance. The members of Shakti, each unique in their own way, bring to the table a variety of classical dance styles and different levels of experience. The dancers captivate the audience through traditional steps mixed with fast-tempo beats.
Meeting Information:
Weekly practice, Monday and Wednesday, 9-10pm at Dance Studio
