Description:
Best Buddies is an international non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment.
College students are paired up with students from the Baltimore Transition Connection and form friendships together. Minimum committment is to meet your buddy twice a month and maintain weekly contact (phone, email). Group events are held each month as well.
