Description:
SHARE at Johns Hopkins Hospital is a group of medical students, undergraduate students, and health care professionals working to provide international medical relief. SHARE collects unused but clean medical supplies from the operating room and redistributes the instruments to developing nations. In addition, SHARE benefits the hospital by reducing its solid medical waste.
SHARE donates medical supplies to many locations around the world and provides teams of nurses and physicians with supplies that are used on medical mission trips around the world. Recently SHARE donated supplies in India, Ghana, Honduras, and the Philippines.
